He has over five years of experience supporting economically vulnerable women by providing access to micro-loans and financial empowerment opportunities. His work is rooted in a strong commitment to poverty reduction, community resilience, and expanding financial inclusion for undeserved populations.

As Savings & Loan Director at SEED Society, Abdul brings hands-on expertise in designing savings and loan programs. He excels in managing and monitoring initiatives that respond to the needs of low-income communities. He is highly skilled in evaluating borrower needs. He facilitates responsible lending. He ensures sustainable repayment structures that strengthen both household stability and community growth.

Abdul combines practical microfinance experience with academic grounding. He is pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sierra Leone. This enhances his capacity to apply data-driven approaches to financial planning, risk assessment, and program performance analysis. His ability to use statistical insights to strengthen loan management systems adds significant value to SEED’s financial services portfolio.

George Reginald Freeman Browne is a dedicated educator, heartivist, and feminist. He is also a researcher and human rights defender. He has over 10 years of experience advancing the rights and wellbeing of marginalized communities. He has a strong foundation in grant strategy, community empowerment, and social justice advocacy. He brings a results-driven and compassionate approach to his role. He serves as the Grants & Advocacy Director at Seed Thrift & Credit Society.

George has a rich background in grantmaking and organizational development. He previously served the Pollination Project for four years as a Grants Advisor. He then advanced to the role of Grants, Community & Non-Financial Resources Manager. In these positions, he supported grassroots changemakers globally. He strengthened equitable funding systems. He led initiatives to ensure transparent, community-centered resource distribution.

His expertise spans comprehensive grant cycle management, donor engagement, compliance, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation. He excels in aligning financial resources with organizational priorities. He cultivates strategic partnerships. He develops advocacy initiatives that elevate community voices and foster inclusive development.

Beyond grant leadership, George provides capacity building. He offers technical assistance and moral support to African asylum seekers and refugees. His efforts extend across Spain, Belgium, France, and several countries within the European Union. Since 2014, he has worked closely with the UNHCR Catalan Committee. He is a champion and motivational speaker for the “We Listen to Refugees” awareness-raising campaign. His research on refugees, immigrants, sexual and reproductive health, and LGBTQI rights spans Africa and Europe. It informs his advocacy. It also strengthens his commitment to evidence-based programming.

George deeply believes in the power of grassroots action and community-driven change. He brings a holistic, equity-focused perspective to advancing Seed Thrift & Credit Society’s grantmaking. He also supports advocacy efforts.

Princess Elliot is a highly dynamic and results-oriented leader. She has more than a decade of experience in operations management, program oversight, and organizational strengthening. Her expertise spans the public health and social impact sectors. In her role as Operations & Programs Director at SEED Society, she uses a strategic approach. She also focuses on systems to ensure the seamless implementation, coordination, and growth of SEED’s programs.

Princess is deeply committed to gender mainstreaming. She focuses on social inclusion. She builds strong prevention and response systems that empower communities and improve wellbeing. Her track record of delivering high-quality program outcomes is grounded in her ability to design efficient operational structures. She leads multidisciplinary teams and drives process improvements. These improvements enhance organizational performance.

She excels in overseeing complex programs, optimizing resources, and aligning program activities with SEED’s mission, strategic priorities, and donor expectations. Her expertise includes multi-sectoral coordination, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. She has extensive experience building productive partnerships with government ministries, donors, NGOs, and community networks.
